MSc Neuroscience of Mental Health

The MSc aims to provide a comprehensive and integrated exploration of our current understanding of the psychological and neuroscientific basis of mental health.

The challenge

Using a single elearning format (animated screencasts) to communicate the central ideas of the curriculum, ranging from the technology behind MRI machines to the ethics of psychological research. I was involved with around a dozen modules of the MSc, providing instructional design and storyboarding animations.

My role

• Meeting busy subject-matter experts to discuss scripts, graphics and learning design
• Storyboarding animations for 15-minute lectures using expertise of programme leads and teaching fellows
• Using student feedback and analytics to feed into new modules
